Class Night

Hi, ya'll! I just got home from teaching my class--tonight the subject of the class was "No Scrap Left Behind". This was definitely not a class for the faint of heart. There was a lot of cutting and measuring to do--definitely a class for us math-a-holics! But a fun one, none the less! We took a kit that contained 3 pieces of 81/2 by 11 cardstock, and 3 pieces of 12 by 12 patterned paper, and from that came a 12 by 12 double page layout, a 6 by 6 layout, a 5 by 7 card with matching envelope, a tag, a matchbook, and a set of photo corners! Pretty good, huh! And not enough scraps left to fill a thimble!

I love these types of projects because not only do I get a double page spread out of it, I get all the matching elements to help complete other pages as well. It's a great way to make the best use of your stuff while you have it in front of you. I will post a picture of all my goodies in my gallery for you to see.

But now it is time for bed--it's late and I need my beauty sleep! Ha! See you soon!
